Hey there. I’m Judy. Finding a therapist who is the right fit for you is important. The relationship between a therapist and a client can determine how much you benefit from counseling. In my own journey of searching for a therapist, I’ve had some good ones and not so good ones. Those experiences have only reinforced the importance of the therapeutic relationship. It can be a vulnerable experience when discussing your struggles with a stranger, even if the stranger is a counselor. That’s why I make sure I provide a safe and nonjudgmental environment for my clients.

I specialize in working with clients that want to stop struggling with their anxiety, OCD and trauma history. I also help work with teens as they start their journey towards independence and adults as they make life changes to help break themselves free from living other people’s expectations. As a daughter of immigrant parents, I know what it’s like to struggle between two different cultures that at times clash with each other. It can be difficult to navigate between these two different worlds and build a place that works for you but it’s possible.

I take care of my two rescue dogs, Lucy and Archie. They generally stay quiet when I’m working but sometimes they want to provide therapy to my clients too. Archie was working on becoming a certified therapy dog before the pandemic but now he’s unemployed. Lucy just wants love and food.

They are available for coaching sessions and take treats as payment.
